Grants and Funding

  • PennDOT Accepting Multimodal Grant Applications: Townships and COGs can apply through February 13, 2026, for grants supporting pedestrian safety, streetscapes, and connectivity projects. (https://www.psats.org/penndot-accepting-multimodal-grant-applications-4/)
  • WalkWorks Active Transportation Grants Available: Applications are being accepted through March 20 for grants and technical assistance to develop active transportation plans for walking, biking, and transit. (https://www.psats.org/walkworks-active-transportation-grants-available/)
  • ATV Trail Grant Awards Announced: The DCNR recently awarded $1.4 million to expand and improve ATV trails across the state, with a new grant round opening soon. (https://www.psats.org/atv-trail-grant-awards-announced/)

  • AG Warns Scammers Targeting Utility Customers Through Fake Websites: Attorney General Dave Sunday is warning Pennsylvanians to beware of fraudulent websites and phone numbers appearing in search results that mimic legitimate utility providers.   • Protecting Yourself from Utility Scams: Consumers should always verify utility representatives by hanging up and calling the official number found directly on their billing statement.   • Basic Training for Municipal Secretaries/Administrators: Registration is now open for essential training sessions held across five locations this winter and spring to help new and veteran administrators strengthen their skills. The organization was formed at an Association Convention held in New Hanover Township on February 24, 1977.
